Volleyball Recap: Maple River Takes a Loss

Maple River lost against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Buccaneers.

Maple River has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-26-2 record this season. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Maple River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier on the 21st. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against St. Clair on the 23rd.
