Softball Recap: East Nicolaus Spartans vs. Colusa RedHawks

East Nicolaus stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Colusa RedHawks a 14-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for East Nicolaus as they're now sitting on four straight.

Stevie Knight made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Knight has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Knight was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, Peyton Becker was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Skylar Kim, who scored two runs.
