Recap: Navarre Raiders vs. Pace Patriots
The Navarre Raiders fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Pace 25-24. That's another feather in the cap for Navarre, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Connor Mathews, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown. Andre Spence also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Pace's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nick Simmons, who rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns, and Xakery Wiedner who gained 101 total yards and two touchdowns.
Navarre has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 6-2 record this season. As for Pace, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-2.
Navarre does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pace is also done with their season.
