Basketball Recap: Saline Comes Up Short

Saline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Pioneer Pioneers, falling 75-46. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Pioneers are ranked 97th).

Saline's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Pioneer, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

Coming up, Saline will take on Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer, they will be taking part in a tournament against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Pioneer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
