Baseball Recap: Richland Northeast Cavaliers vs. Camden Bulldogs

Richland Northeast extended their losing streak to 18 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-18 in the process. They lost 10-0 to the Camden Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 on Tuesday.

As for Camden, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11. Considering they have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Camden's part, Zechariah Haney was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that Haney has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Clay Ridgeway, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Looking ahead, Richland Northeast will head out on the road to take on Ridge View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers are facing the Blazers at the right time seeing as the Blazers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Camden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
