Basketball Recap: Keene Piles Up the Points Against Concord

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Keene). They claimed a resounding 93-39 win over the Concord Crimson Tide. Given the Blackbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Crimson Tide are ranked 79th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Keene's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Concord, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Keene will head out on the road to challenge Timberlane at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keene is facing Timberlane at the right time seeing as Timberlane is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Concord, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Manchester Memorial at 6:30 p.m. Manchester Memorial has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 224 points over their last three matchups.
