Baseball Recap: Central Bucks East Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Central Bucks East fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against North Penn on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 15-8 to the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on Tuesday.

Anthony Niro was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Jack Thompson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Central Bucks East's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for North Penn, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Central Bucks East by a score of 3-0 on Thursday.
