Baseball Game Preview: Allegany Campers vs. GVCS Broadfording Lions

The Allegany Campers will take on the GVCS Broadfording Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Wednesday, Allegany came up short against Northern Garrett and fell 6-1. The contest marked the Campers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when GVCS Broadfording duked it out with Jefferson on Saturday. The Lions fell 4-1 to the Cougars. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

GVCS Broadfording's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Allegany, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything went Allegany's way against GVCS Broadfording when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Allegany made off with an 11-1 victory. Will the Campers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
