Palmer has gone a perfect 3-0 against Life Oak Cliff recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 999 yards in their previous games.
Palmer took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Whitesboro with points to spare, taking the game 46-28.

Eric Cisneros continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 172 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 225 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Palmer's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Sutton Maddox, who gained 127 total yards and a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Palmer was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in 18 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Palmer's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Cole Spurlock was the leader with two sacks. Palmer received some extra help from Blake Keimig, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Life Oak Cliff hadn't done well against Madison recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 42-35.
Life Oak Cliff found their leader in freshman Sukora ' Sip' Cooper Jr, who rushed for 211 yards and three scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 210 yards and a pair of touchdowns. ' Sip' Cooper Jr's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Joshua Washington also helped with two TDs in total.
Life Oak Cliff now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Palmer, their record is now 6-2.
The upcoming matchup will be a clash of competing strengths. Palmer has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 290.9 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, Life Oak Cliff has preferred to attack from the air: they average 298.3 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
