Baseball Recap: Bolivar Comes Up Short

Bolivar came into this matchup off a tough nine-run defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Strafford Indians by a score of 3-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Liberators have suffered since April 11th.

This is the second loss in a row for Bolivar and nudges their season record down to 12-10. As for Strafford, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Bolivar has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Logan-Rogersville on the 6th. As for Strafford, they will square off against Conway at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
