Baseball Recap: Reagan Comes Up Short

Reagan easily dispatched Mooresville on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Raiders fell just short of the South Iredell Vikings by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for South Iredell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Reagan will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. As for South Iredell, they will head out on the road to square off against Ashley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
