Calvary Baptist Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Jena Giants with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering the Cavaliers have won 16 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kynzee Anderson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-2. What's more, she posted two runs, the most she's had since back in February.

In other batting news, Baylor Bockhaus was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Carlie Guile, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Calvary Baptist Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least three home runs in five consecutive games.

Calvary Baptist Academy's win was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Jena, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-4.

Calvary Baptist Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-3 win against Ouachita Parish on the 24th. As for Jena, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against Claiborne Christian on the 24th.
