Softball Game Preview: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels vs. Baylor Red Raiders

Tipton-Rosemark Academy hasn't had much luck against Baylor recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rebels are taking a road trip to square off against the Red Raiders. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to St. Benedict at Auburndale. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Baylor's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Girls Prep by a score of 7-6.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-18-1. As for Baylor, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 18-8-1.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy couldn't quite finish off Baylor in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
