Baseball Recap: Head-Royce Find Success

Head-Royce won the last time they faced College Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jayhawks came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 10-6. With that win, the Jayhawks brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Ezra Goldfarb and Kaden Choi did most of the damage at the plate: Goldfarb went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Choi got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs and two triples. Those four runs gave Choi a new career-high. Kento Tsuji was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Head-Royce's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Head-Royce will have a chance to go back-to-back against College Prep: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
