West Tallahatchie extends home winning streak to six

Recap: West Tallahatchie Choctaws vs. West Bolivar Eagles

The West Tallahatchie Choctaws came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past West Bolivar with a 43-37 victory. This was payback for West Tallahatchie, who suffered a 40-38 defeat the last time these two teams met.

West Tallahatchie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Drexel Miller led the charge by scoring 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Sample, who scored ten points.

West Tallahatchie's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game.
