Basketball Recap: Hurley Comes Up Short

If Hurley was feeling good fresh off their 69-31 takedown of Council last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hurley Rebels fell 71-61 to the Tazewell Bulldogs on Monday. The Rebels have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hurley's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Tazewell, their record now sits at 8-10.

Hurley will square off against Twin Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tazewell, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Virginia High at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Virginia High will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Tazewell surely won't give up without a fight.
