Baseball Recap: Colonial Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Colonial's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Freedom Patriots on Tuesday. The Grenadiers haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Freedom, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-13.

Looking ahead, Colonial will challenge Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Freedom, they will face off against West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
