Softball Recap: North Forsyth Comes Up Short

North Forsyth lost against R.J. Reynolds back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The North Forsyth Vikings came up short against the R.J. Reynolds Demons, falling 30-11. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (ten), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

North Forsyth is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2. As for R.J. Reynolds, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

Coming up, North Forsyth is taking a road trip to square off against Walkertown at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Walkertown will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something North Forsyth surely won't give up without a fight. As for R.J. Reynolds, they will square off against Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. R.J. Reynolds has given up an average of 20 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
