Softball Recap: North Bergen Comes Up Short

North Bergen lost against Bayonne on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bruins came up short against the Bees, falling 11-2. The match marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Bergen's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bayonne, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

North Bergen didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Hackensack on the 23rd. As for Bayonne, they will challenge Union City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bees are facing the Soaring Eagles at the right time seeing as the Soaring Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
