Volleyball Recap: Deerfield Comes Up Short

Deerfield lost against Glenbrook South back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Glenbrook South scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20.

Deerfield dropped their record down to 15-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Glenbrook South, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Deerfield will square off against Grant Community at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glenbrook South, they will face off against Loyola Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
