With a playoff win on the line, St. James Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bonner Springs Braves 78-49. The Thunder's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

St. James Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Regan Becker, who dropped a triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. The dominant performance gave Becker a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Robinson, who went 8-for-10 en route to 18 points and six boards.

St. James Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Bonner Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Looking ahead, St. James Academy will challenge De Soto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. James Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Bonner Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
