Basketball Recap: Worthington Christian Takes a Loss

Worthington Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 61-17 defeat at the hands of the Columbus Academy Vikings. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Worthington Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Columbus Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Worthington Christian will square off against Triway at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Triway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Worthington Christian likes a good challenge. As for Columbus Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Buckeye Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
