Baseball Recap: Dunedin Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dunedin's offense. They came up short against the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Dunedin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Palm Harbor University, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunedin will host Clearwater at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Dunedin's pitchers better be ready for this one: Clearwater has averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Palm Harbor University, they will be playing at home against Largo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
