Volleyball Game Preview: Harmony School of Advancement Hawks vs. Summer Creek Bulldogs

Harmony School of Advancement is 0-3 against Summer Creek since February of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Hawks will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Harmony School of Advancement will be strutting in after a victory while Summer Creek will be coming in after a defeat.

Harmony School of Advancement is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Pearland, who was ranked 16th at the time (Harmony School of Advancement was ranked seventh). The Hawks blew past the Oilers 3-0 on Tuesday.

Harmony School of Advancement's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pearland to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Joseph Hoang, who had seven digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Summer Creek suffered their biggest loss since April 20, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Kingwood Park. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 27-25, 25-22.

Having lost for the first time this season, Summer Creek fell to 6-1. As for Harmony School of Advancement, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
