Centralia won the last time they faced Marshall and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Centralia Panthers walked away with a 55-47 victory over the Marshall Owls. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Marshall's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Thompson, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Deacon Arends, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points and five assists.

Centralia's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Marshall, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centralia Panthers challenge the Bowling Green Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Marshall, they will be playing at home against Oak Grove at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
