A big part of Waxahachie's win came down to the chemistry between Jerry Meyer III and his top target Kohen Brown. Meyer III threw for 359 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Brown picked up 149 receiving yards and one score. That's the most receiving yards Brown has posted since back in September of 2024.
Duncanville's record is now 10-1. As for Waxahachie, their record now sits at 11-1.
