Basketball Recap: Axtell Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Axtell can now relate to. They took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kerens Bobcats.

Axtell has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season. As for Kerens, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-17 record this season.

Axtell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kerens, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bobcats duke it out with the Cougars on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Leon comes in on 12 and Kerens on three.
