Basketball Game Preview: Ropes Eagles vs. Quanah Indians

The Ropes Eagles will take on the Quanah Indians at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ropes took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Sundown 74-32. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Quanah earned a 53-46 win over Memphis on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won five in a row.

Quanah's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-12. As for Ropes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Ropes was able to grind out a solid victory over Quanah when the teams last played back in December of 2019, winning 55-46. Does Ropes have another victory up their sleeve, or will Quanah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
