Softball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport lost to Brewster back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs & Fillies lost 24-3 to the Bears. The Mustangs & Fillies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Brewster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Bridgeport will face off against Cascade at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brewster, they will head out on the road to face off against Manson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.25 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
