Volleyball Game Preview: KIPP Denver Collegiate White Tigers vs. DSST: Montview Knights

KIPP Denver Collegiate is 1-7 against DSST: Montview since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The White Tigers will square off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. KIPP Denver Collegiate will be strutting in after a win while DSST: Montview will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, KIPP Denver Collegiate made easy work of Bruce Randolph and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was KIPP Denver Collegiate's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-3.

Meanwhile, DSST: Montview came up short against DSST: Green Valley Ranch on Friday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 11-25, 25-20, 25-20.

KIPP Denver Collegiate has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for DSST: Montview, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

KIPP Denver Collegiate couldn't quite get it done against DSST: Montview in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the White Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
