Recap: Bethesda Academy vs. Beaufort Academy Eagles
Bethesda Academy stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Beaufort Academy with a sharp 58-37 win. Winning may never get old, but Bethesda Academy sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Bethesda Academy had a senior duo take command as Ashton Wright dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds and Jacari Mckay scored 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Mckay has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Isaiah Reynolds was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Bethesda Academy's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.4 points. As for Beaufort Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-13.
Bethesda Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-44 loss vs. Hilton Head Prep on the 10th. Beaufort Academy has also already played their next match, a 49-41 win against Thomas Heyward Academy on the 12th.
