Softball Recap: Vidor Sets Scoring Season-High Against Jasper

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vidor). They blew past the Jasper Bulldogs 24-6 on Tuesday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Alyssa Korman was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those triples were her first of the season.

Vidor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .705. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Jasper, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2.

Looking ahead, Vidor will head out to square off against Shepherd at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jasper, they will welcome Lumberton at 6:30 p.m. on March 4th.
