Football Game Preview: Durand Railroaders vs. Mt. Morris Panthers

The Durand Railroaders will challenge the Mt. Morris Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Morris took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Durand, who comes in off a win.

Durand is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Lakeville 50-10 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Railroaders in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Mt. Morris ended up a good deal behind New Lothrop on Friday and lost 41-24. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Durand will have to contain Colby Carper as he made an impact in Mt. Morris' last game. He rushed for 91 yards and one score, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Durand now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mt. Morris, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
