Softball Recap: Woodlands Academy Wildcats vs. Christian Liberty Chargers

Woodlands Academy can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past the Christian Liberty Chargers 15-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for Woodlands Academy.

Abby Hironimus made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. Hironimus has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Hironimus was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs.

In other batting news, Sara Bult and Evie Twohig did most of the damage at the plate: Bult scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Twohig scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
