Softball Recap: Great Falls Takes a Loss

Great Falls lost against Billings West back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bison lost 11-1 to the Golden Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Bison have lost by exactly ten runs.

Great Falls saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Newmack, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Great Falls now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Billings West, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Great Falls wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Billings Senior on the 5th. As for Billings West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Russell on the 5th.
