Basketball Recap: North Michigan Christian Academy Comes Up Short

North Michigan Christian Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 57-39 fall against the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Swordsmen are ranked 199th).

North Michigan Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Harbor Light Christian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Michigan Christian Academy will take on Cedarville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Michigan Christian Academy is facing Cedarville at the right time seeing as Cedarville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harbor Light Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ellsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
