Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Oxnard Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 17-25, 25-15.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Oxnard, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pacifica will challenge rival Buena at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oxnard is set to face off against their familiar foe Santa Barbara at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
