Baseball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

If Blue Ridge was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of S & S Consolidated last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 4-1 to the Bells Panthers on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Bells, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

While Blue Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
