Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Wins Going Away Against North Knox

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bloomfield and North Knox, and Bloomfield kept the tradition alive. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 10-1 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Dillon Warnick, who fired off three home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Scott, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Bloomfield hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
