After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Terre Haute South Vigo, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx a 26-0 shutout.

The victory got Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter back to even at 1-1. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
