Eagle Rock strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 20-12 victory over the Verdugo Hills Dons. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Dons are ranked 171st).

Eagle Rock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nylah Moore led the charge by throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 38 yards. Those 219 passing yards gave Moore a new career-high. Eagle Rock also got help from Kyla Siao, who showed off her sure hands for 88 receiving yards.

Eagle Rock's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Verdugo Hills, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Eagle Rock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-6 victory against Castaic on the 27th. As for Verdugo Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against North Hollywood on the 24th.
