It was a good run, but Roscommon unfortunately witnessed the end of their 24-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Caledonia Fighting Scots by a score of 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Avery Seif, who had 12 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last five matchups.

Roscommon's defeat dropped their record down to 39-2. As for Caledonia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

Roscommon will host Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Caledonia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Detroit Country Day on the 11th.
