Baseball Recap: Mooreland Takes a Loss

Mooreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Shattuck Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Thursday.

Mooreland's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shattuck, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Mooreland has already played their next match (against Thomas-Fay-Custer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shattuck, they will face off against Sayre at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Shattuck's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
