Recap: Memorial Red Devils vs. Crestview Rebels

The Memorial Red Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Crestview 77-45 on the road. Given Memorial's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while Crestview is ranked 629th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Aziyah Flores, who scored 22 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Rodriguez, who scored 17 points.

The win was the third in a row for Memorial, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Crestview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Memorial will be home for the holidays to greet Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crestview will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Heartland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
