Soccer Game Preview: J.L. Mann vs. Greenwood

J.L. Mann is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Greenwood is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Patriots will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Greenwood better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if J.L. Mann's game on Monday is any indication, that's when J.L. Mann really gets things going. The Patriots' defense stepped up to hand Easley a 3-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for J.L. Mann in their matchups with Easley: they've now won seven in a row.

Timmy Reardon was the driving force of J.L. Mann's attack as he scored all three of J.L. Mann's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Greenwood made easy work of Woodmont on Friday and carried off a 5-0 win.

Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those six matchups. As for J.L. Mann, their win bumped their record up to 19-0.
