Baseball Recap: Beaver Dam Comes Up Short

Beaver Dam had lost five straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 2-14 to make it six. They lost 16-1 to the Pahranagat Valley Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Beaver Dam saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Alonso-Ceja, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

As for Pahranagat Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

On Pahranagat Valley's side, Logan Thiriot was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Howard, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Beaver Dam wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-1 win against Mountain View Christian on the 25th. As for Pahranagat Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 32-9 victory against Sandy Valley on the 25th.
