Soccer Game Preview: Swansboro vs. Richlands

The Swansboro Pirates will take on the Richlands Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Swansboro is headed into the game having not lost since April 11 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Havelock finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Meanwhile, Richlands won against West Carteret on Tuesday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against White Oak by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Richlands in their matchups with White Oak: they've now won eight in a row.

With that draw, Swansboro's record moves to 9-3-7. As for Richlands, they now have a winning record of 11-10-1.

Swansboro skirted past Richlands 2-1 in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
