Softball Recap: Mahomet-Seymour Snaps 14-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

The third road match was the charm for Mahomet-Seymour, as they earned their first away win of the season. They blew past the Galesburg Silver Streaks 15-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Madi White was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Maddie Logsdon was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Mahomet-Seymour was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Galesburg only posted a batting average of .143.
