A big part of Leland's win came down to the chemistry between Jacob Gibson and his top target Brady Hernandez. Gibson rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown while Hernandez rushed for 87 yards.
Gilroy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Leland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
