Preview: Marshfield vs. Mt. Vernon
On Friday Marshfield take on Mt. Vernon at 7:00 PM. Marshfield are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Marshfield were able to grind out a solid victory over Monett last week, winning 31-23. No one had a better game by the numbers than senior Brock Utecht, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 271 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Nevada as they made off with a 48-16 win.
